Wildcat Sauna is a community space that brings people together.

Everyone is welcome: All bodies. All backgrounds. All types of respectful vibes

𖨆 Your body = your business.

  • No comments on people’s bodies: tattoos, scars etc.

  • (Mostly) Screen-Free Zone! If you need to use your phone, be discreet.

  • Respect people’s privacy = No photos unless you have asked first

  • Consent Matters Always check in before offering advice, conversation or adjusting anything in the space

  • Softly Social - please keep voices low, enjoy the calm

  • Leave No Trace: Take your belongings, rubbish, and anything else you brought with you. Keep the space beautiful

Shower before your sauna session AND before getting into the baths for saunas & baths to stay fresh

Feel dizzy, uncomfortable or sleepy? Step outside to cool down straight away, please tell a member of staff if you’d like support - that’s what we’re here for.

Ask people in the sauna before adding a ladle of water and please pour gently.

Swimmers-on zone. All guests must wear swimwear, underwear or loose clothing.

Please sit on a towel inside the sauna. The wood gets HOT and our bodies sweat.

NO GLASS inside the saunas - leave your bottle outside

Wildcat is a sober space - no alcohol or drugs allowed.

Take off jewellery to prevent skin burns and/or damage to your jewellery.

5 - 10 mins in the sauna to start with. 20 mins MAX. for sauna enthusiasts.

Stay hydrated - drink plenty of water before, during and after your session.

No essential oils unless pre-organised, as they can irritate people’s breathing.

 FAQs

  • Station Approach, BA11 1RE. The sauna site is based at the back of the Station Approach building behind Lungi Babas, Rye Bakery and more.

    To find us:

    • walk all the way through to the BACK of the Station Approach building

    • look out for & follow orange Wildcat logo wooden circles on your way

    • We are opposite the back doors. Look out for the orange leopard print door to enter!

    POPUPS / EVENTS - please follow the details on your booking to find the venue. If we are somewhere exciting, that might mean checking exact location on What 3 Words and following instructions there.

  • Please book individually so that everyone booking on to the sauna can read/ sign Wildcat Sauna Terms & Conditions, and give an emergency contact just in case.

    We are looking into a system where if you’ve already signed up, someone can book you onto a session with your name/ email. But we do not have that yet!

  • Please bring 2 towels - one for sitting on inside the sauna (to protect you from the hot wood), one for after a shower/ cold plunge

  • You can arrive 5 minutes before your booking to check in.

  • There are no car park spaces at Wildcat Sauna. We are about health & wellbeing so encourage all our customers to walk, cycle, bus, train, lift share. There is a bike rack right outside the sauna to lock your bike.

    PARKING: Frome train station car park is run by https://www.apcoa.co.uk/parking-in/frome/frome-station/. (day rate = £2.10) free for blue badge carriers.

    Station Approach have very limited car park spaces

    EV: There are EV electric charging spaces at the Station Approach car park

  • We clean the sauna at the end of every day using eco-friendly, anti-bacterial cleaners.

  • We have an outdoor cold shower, there are no hot showers available. 

  • Yes – All our sessions are public, mixed gender sessions unless otherwise advertised.

  • The sessions last for 1 hour. Please ensure you leave by the next hour, so that those booked into the following time slot can have their allocated time.

    If you would like to stay longer than 1 hour, you are very welcome to book 2 sessions so that you can stay for up to 2 hours. Or if you want to stay longer on the day, please speak to Wildcat Sauna staff to see if there is available space to book onto the next session - before your session finishes.

  • Can a gift a session or a pack of sessions to a friend? YES! We’ve now added an option for gift vouchers - check them out here

  • Standard sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before your appointment starts, via your booking email (Acuity booking system) .

    This gives us enough time to re-list the space to be filled.

    If it is within 24 hours of your session, we are unable to credit or reschedule unless there are extenuating circumstances. But we will put the session into our Pay It Forward/ Social Prescribing pot supporting those on low or no income.

    Events have a 72 hour cancellation window. If you need to cancel within 72 hours of the event we will need time to offer to our waitlist / re-advertise. Refunds / credit within that time are dependent on us being able to fill the space.

    Extenuating circumstances: If you have an unexpected emergency situation or are unwell, and cannot make it to your session, please get in touch via info@wildcatsauna.org or call the site phone number 07340 085415.
